Gas Mask with Ultra-rare Sandbag Cover
From my own collection, a WWII General Service Respirator and haversack, the latter within its original hessian outer protective cover. In April of 1942 orders were issues ordering the construction, under unit arrangements, of hessian covers made from sandbags for wear over the respirator haversack, in order to reduce wear and tear. (See Davis' British Army Uniforms & Insignia of World War Two pages 240-241). This is the
only
example I have seen in any collection, it is utterly genuine. Complete as found almost 20 years ago with anti-dim outfit and cotton waste. A unique opportunity.

Superb Old-Spec deactivated 1913 SMLE MkIII
One of the best deactivated SMLE's I've seen in many years. It has correct bolt with matching serials and retains original early features such as magazine cut-off and volley sight. Examples such as this are becoming extremely difficult to find.

Extremely rare Ordnance Flintlock Pistol
A distinctive Board of Ordnance 15 bore flintlock pistol by Whately. It bears Ordnance Proof marks, conforming marks to the lock plate and appropriate store keeper's marks to the butt. It is asserted that this unique pattern was commissioned by the Board of Ordnance during the War of 1812 for supply to native American Indians, continuing a practice carried out during the War of Independence. This is one of just 2,636 such pistols and as such is rare indeed. While the ramrod is possibly an older replacement, the condition of the piece is excellent throughout, only the stock showing service wear. An extremely rare opportunity for the collector.
